We got a domestic SELL signal today. The last buy signal we got on 12/6/07 turned out to be a Whipsaw! So much for the
Santa Claus rally. We remain on a International buy signal, but it is starting to break down and may change to a sell signal
very soon.

After more than 25 years of managing money, Fabian Financial Services has closed it's doors. According to Ed Foster,
president of Fabian Financial Services, "it was just a business decision on the part of the Fabian family". Ed went on to
say, "for listeners to our radio show and for followers of the Fabian philosophy, we would like to say thank you very much."

While looking around the internet, I ran across this article by Mark Hulbert. It's from May 2007 and talks about using
a 200DMA Trend Following trading method. The article is in response to Hulbert questioning Dick Fabian's son, Doug, for not
following the system that his father invented.

This week the broad market, as defined by the Wilshire 5000 ($WLSH), gave a BUY signal as it moved back above it's 40
Week Moving Average. For trend followers, it's time to look for market strength and set up our purchases for Monday 8/27.
Using a 1% envelope around the 40WMA, we saw a breakout on the top of the envelope (BUY Signal) as well.
